Kenneth B. Grear, Esquire is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.  Mr. Grear was named a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” lawyer in 2006 and 2005.  Mr. Grear has significant experience trying cases to verdict before juries in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Minnesota.  Mr. Grear has also achieved successful results for clients through mediating and arbitrating cases, in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maryland and New York.  Prior to forming GrearLevanios, LLC, Mr. Grear was an Associate with M. Mark Mendel, Ltd, where he represented catastrophically injured and disabled clients in various tort actions. Mr. Grear also handled Worker’s Compensation matters as well as Social Security Disability claims.  Mr. Grear joined White and Williams, LLP in 2004, where he practiced in the area of insurance subrogation recovery representing insurance companies and their catastrophically injured insureds as plaintiffs in property (commercial and residential) damage and personal injury matters.  In addition to law, Mr. Grear has a diverse background involving medical research and building construction.  Prior to and while an undergraduate, Mr. Grear worked in biomedical research at a prestigious medical school.  While attending law school full time Mr. Grear worked as a laborer for a local general contracting company.  These varied first hand experiences have provided Mr. Grear with valuable insight and experience in medicine and the construction industry in order to better assist the catastrophically injured.   
 
Mark L. McAlpine, Esquire has had extensive experience with handling property subrogation matters since 2005. Mr. McAlpine brings a broad based knowledge platform to the practice because of his extensive mechanical engineering and manufacturing systems engineering background. While in law school and employed as a Law Clerk at White and Williams, LLP, Mr. McAlpine managed approximately 75 cases with a total loss value of 6.5 million dollars. Mr. McAlpine coordinated case investigations, researched applicable laws in jurisdictions from Maine to Florida, drafted documents in support of arbitration, mediation and litigation, prepared damages tabulations and demand letters, and coordinated settlement negotiations.
